Getting to Know Dr. Ham:
Dr. Ham loves working in a rural community because he is from this rural community, and he feels lucky to do his part in the community.
Dr. Ham's favorite part of his job is talking with patients he knows (or knows of) and catching up with what has been going on in their life, both from a healthcare standpoint and that of a neighbor. Many of these patients he has known his entire life.
Dr. Ham's practice philosophy is that we are here to help the patient set and achieve their healthcare goals. He does not subscribe to the philosophy that patients are to do as they are told without question. Healthcare is very much a team effort, and the patient is the owner of the team.
In his free time, Dr. Ham enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and his cats.
