Anthony Sims, MD is a board-certified family medicine provider who has been practicing in DeKalb County for 19 years. He is a lifelong resident of DeKalb County and graduated from Sylvania High School in 1993. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Jacksonville State University in 1997. Dr. Sims then continued his education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Medicine.
Dr. Sims treats a wide variety of acute sicknesses and chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and hypothyroidism, among others. “Having a Primary Care Provider is important. When you build a relationship with your provider, we can understand the patient’s needs and wants. As a PCP, it’s our goal to have the patient’s best interest at heart.”
